Ex Wallaby - Saturday, November 04, 2006
3 years ago, on this very day...i'm was in Queensland(Australia), Shoalwater Bay Training Area, taking part in EX. WALLABY aka ATEC which is to evaluate how well soldiers perform during 'war time'...my unit, 40SAR fought with tenacity and determination against a seasoned training opposition force and emerged tops with a score of Recon 2A(i guess...).
a land of gum trees, wooded mountains, flat bushland and numerous dry creeks, is more than four times the size of Singapore. so travelling from the point to another is pretty long, as i could sleep in my APC(armour personnal carrier) which is the M113.
the rugged, unfamiliar terrain provided a tougher challenge to us who are used to training in tropical rainforests and monsoon jungles in Singapore. its really an EXPIRENCE!!! you wanna know why?
my head got smashed by a big tree branch when the APC is bashing through the jungle...and i lost conscience for a few minutes falling from the top of the APC. it hit the left side of my head whic is hurts so much...after i gain conscience, i could barely remember anything cause my head hurts like............cant describe the pain man! in the end, i was called off duty due to my injury...
some memories to share...and i miss the company of them! sobs sobs...we'll meet again!
stoned face and APC(M113)

my fucking rifle(M203), so dusty after 2hours...

my fun and laughter!

with my rifle and my buddy and me!
